The images remain so vivid, Images of how we were supposed to be, What I wanted, What I thought you wanted. The fantasies. Visions of our bodies entertwined as one. The moment of passion, Our passion, Our love, So intense, Desires that have been deemed forbidden Become needs. A thirst to be quenched. But this need, This longing, This desire, Is still but a dream. Unfulfilled. |
