Lonely angels forever forgotten,
Their wings hanging limply behind them,
Collecting dust upon the ends from being dragged along the ground
Beneath their tattered gowns.
They wander about not knowing day from night
For in their minds they shall see merely darkness everlastingly.
If only they hadn't succumbed to such a drowing depth of sorrow
In their quest for a mythical ecstasy,
They might not have been blind in seeing
That a truly pure and eternal happiness had existed.
Now never to be found.

As you are new here you obviously don't know the rules.  We all try to post no more than two poems in the one forum in a 24 hour time span, after all it is only fair.
Welcome to passions hope you enjoy your time here.  And I'm going to close the threads to all but two of these poems.
