Summer solstice enticing me, Into creativty. Staring into glory I find, An indian moon so divine, Covered with mosaic clouds, So dressed in their wonderous shroud, Transfixed in creations design, I am theirs and they are mine. I think about the time I have let go by, About the time I have left to buy? I begin to follow a fantasy, One that rides me to the sea. I hear of crickets singing their song, I too want to join along. So happy they seem to me, Is this all a dream? I smell the fresh cut onions amongst grass, Oh Yes, this is what I have wanted to bask! I linger here for what seems eternity, But I know 2 years is not long you see. For that is my fate I have been told, I want to enjoy then all I can behold! So let me be free to taste all I can be, Let me behold until I no longer can see! Let me run and not walk, And sometimes I may not want to talk! My destiny is at hand, and I want to rise, Above this heart emotion that makes me cry. Just to feel the beating of my heart like an attack, To never regret and never look back! I took a journey tonight, It helped me to see my plight. With you God I have no fright! For it is YOU I will finally see.... Finally, I will be free! It takes a lot of courage to live life to it's fullest. It takes an extra special person to do that when extreme challenges stand in the way. From your poem, I'd say that you're one of those special people. duch |

Very heartfelt kid, very wise beyond years. tasting all of life within two years is a ?? hard thing to do. Great poem kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
