My heart is hurting beyond words,
What must people think of me,
Hot and cold, warm and dry,
The goddess of peace? She can't be!

Led so easily and simply,
Tell her all your woes,
She listens with unending loving and sympathy,
But in the end where does she go?

Who comforts her, who holds her?
Who makes everything alright?
Who takes away life's anguish,
On a cold , forbiding night?

It doesn't matter anyways,
As long as I put on a brave front,
No one really knows, or cares, or understands,
And besides, I'm almost used to bearing the brunt.

My heart will hurt some more,
Perhaps it always will?
But still I'll be there to listen,
When your heart you need to spill..

I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.....

Sven I know, and Joel love my online Dad too!! Even the almighty Isis herself has to vent sometimes

James I too am determined 2000 is a year or new beginnings, new horizons, and the all improved and understanding Isis. Most of the time it is indeed working, but like all mere mortals sometimes the soul flounders!!
