There's a photo frame standing empty
I stare at it for hours
Just hoping to paint the picture
That spreads a certain light around
But fate has something else in store
I'm left with torn memories
And each time I try to patch them
A missing element mocks me
And so I travelled a thousand days ago
And found that perfect picture
But each time i captured it in frame
It simply just dissappeared
So i moved again this time a thousand days ahead
To paint the perfect picture
To find that missing someone
But painfully i realize
I'm left with lifeless thoughts
There is no perfect picture
Still hard for me to finish
My dreams are all undone
while things around are strange
And that's the picture....not perfect
Now  firmly in the frame
And even if it were to set free
The images will still remain

If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves
from which evolves the light...

My friend, this hits home all to much, I thought I had a picture perfect once. And it fell to dust.
My heart to you, we have traveled the same path. This is a great expression on this path.
Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

In a way it is sad that perfect picture always seems to change and disappear, but life is just like that. I like this a lot Avanti. I do !

WOW  Avanti...
I love this one...
its so beatiful in its sad melancoly way.
you have written so much wisdom in this.
and you mirror my heart to the letter my poetic friend...
if I ever find the perfect picture of love...I intend to frame it in gold...
as it will be a treasure...
your writing just gets better and better wth each pen stroke!!!
loves ya, jm

I know it's been a long road
To get these towns behind me and I
Will gladly reap what we may sow--
I am there for you ...
and you're there for me ...
Are you waiting for
Heart in hand
Woman and man
See me where I stand I am
Heart
Heart in hand
