Decision's caress in final jest
Screams of what I used to be
No final mark - I've failed the test
Display of simple virtuosity

Whereby and by I heave a sigh
To glance behind my back
No helping now - I stand and cry
a'side this worn and ruddy track

Who am I to know, what goes to show
Moans of where I want to be
You know me not, this is my lot
Discarded alone - I do not dream

Ah, been there done that...  don't ever give up dreaming tough, nicole.  Stop glancing behind your back and see what's waiting just ahead.  Much love and many smiles are yours for the taking.

Love ya girl,

Michael

~~nice writing~~
sometimes, a poem appears that has such expression and soul revealing that you want to read it over and over. This poem is one of those.

No not discarded, an not alone, not here.
I'm with mike and Dan, I've done that been there, and soul revealing.
it is a short and to the point poem.
Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
