I've got writer's block,
and I don't know what to do.
My words aren't really rhyming,
and I sorta feel like poo. (LOL, this is bad...)

Nothing much is going on,
in my sad pathetic life.
Darn, I'm stuck again...
( 5 min. later )
what's causing all this strife?

Geez this is worse,
than I thought it could be.
Does anyone have any suggestions,
they'd like to share with me?

Seriously, I'm on a major block here...I haven't written anything for days.  My love life's not interesting anymore, and my mind is in a haze.  If anyone has words of advice, o maybe a challenge to give, I would take them in an instant.  Without writing I shall not live!

Much thanks!

In days of olde people had more to do than focus on themselves so much, they were fighting to survive...
Write me a poem on what you would've been in the olde days, a knight, farmer, bard etc??

hey you!!! boy can i relate... i have a poem here posted called Another Wordless Night about this exact thing.  i found that if i write about why i'm not writing, such as you have done here, it comes all in due time.  i looked at my life as tho it was a garden, a sea, a play, a dance, things like that.  try writing in a third person point of view... did wonders for me, really.  uh, i could keep going on, i guess no block on my advice, huh?
hahahaha lol    who loves ya ,babe?

Well here it is kid.
I have written on.
Toilet paper.
Soap.
old Dogs.
Butterflies.
Cars.
Toilet bowls. haha
Hot Peppers.
Lost Loves.
Found Loves.
Breathing.
Dying. this gets old.
Your looking in the wrong place kid.
The world is full of things to write about,
a splinter in your foot.
What you should be looking for is the feeling of it, the inspiration is inside you.
This is something to help you, to get in touch with the "inspiration you"
Turn off the TV
Turn off the CD player.
Turn off the Radio.
Turn off all outside noise.
and Turn on the light inside you.
Remember it's not writers block!
It's the soul afraid of sharing.
It's also called digging deep.
Love you kid.
Joel.

Well the nightmare of the writer

my own cure is dont be so single minded

if you know any psycology (im not an expert but) an ego is a kind of personality who you are is your ego.  my own trick is to develop multiple egos (not as dificult as it sounds) it simply means looking at the world in a different way.  ie how would someone who had been starving and alone look at your world pretend to be them or any one read a history book and use one of the characters from it as an ego to write with.

A SINGLE EGO IS AN EXTREMELY LIMITED PERSPECTIVE

  Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.

Hey I know it's terrible when that muse goes missing...anyway the only advice I've got is that I try to see things as if I'm someone else I imagine what it would be like to be that person and how they may feel....sorry thats all I can give   hope your muse comes back real soon.
