Leaving a sad and lonely place We don't always choose to find ourselves in a sad and lonely place but a time will come when we can choose to stay and embrace our pain or move forward to find a less painful place. I must confess that I have been sad... brokenhearted, lonely, hurt, and mad. And if it takes all my strength than let it be... for my pain has served me well but long enough and now I must ask pain to loose it's grip on me. Life please let me experience the joy and happiness that is all around me. My choice has finally been made and this is the place that I wish to be. Surely it is somewhere on the road just ahead and has been waiting for me patiently. That lovely place where I will know the joys of life I have always yearned to see. a precious place where my soul can fly like an eagle and be happy and free. This is a very heart felt wishing of wellness. a nice expression. Yes the pain does serve us well, in times of need, but knowing when the time to move on?? is difficult. I guess for some it's a slow move. this is great kid. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Pain does make us so down and depressed, yet somehow brings out a desire to express our most intimate feelings, somehow I think without it we may be destined to know not what life is really about. You must know pain to know happiness. I know this is true, believe me i've been there. Always keep a positive outlook and things will change. Sometimes you can not change the circumstances but you can most definetely change yourself, which in turn affects those around you. Think about it how a smile spreads around the room , or hearing a laughter makes you laugh. |

Thank you Spitfire, Joel, Isis, Kathleen, and Rosebud for reading and for the wonderful comments on my writing. Joel I agree that it is difficult to move on because we become comfortable where we are..I know that it is time to move on because I hate being sad and lonely and I know that I must move on..after years of pain and loneliness. I want more out of life. Yes Isis we should all make this journey and the sooner the better...some of the decisions I had to make to enable myself to move on were very hard and everything is not resolved yet...it will take time and determination...and I know that new painful experiences are waiting for me in my future but I am determined not to get stuck with them...only to experience them and move on.
