Evil Within Me

There is a demon within me,
     Who makes me do things,
     Who uses my anger to feed its soul,
     How can I control this demon, which lies deep within me
     Within my soul, within my heart,
     It lurks from one emotion to another,
     It searches for my weakness,
     I had the demon under control,
     but it finds new routes, new weakness to crawl out of
     Who is this demon?
     What is this demon?
     The answer lies deep within
     The answer is clear as water
     The demon is thyself
     The demon is my anger, my trust, my love, and my hate...
     I have been feeding it unknowingly since beginning of my life,
     It has grown stronger and I have grown weaker,
     Trying to avoid evil, I have created one
     One that will be with me till I cleanse myself.

wow I think we all have demons of our own creation though I'm not at all sur ehow to go about cleansing them from me as they have become a part of me... great job

Great job on describing the demons within. Yes we all have them and must deal with them our own way. Once again Great Job!

I liked the way you described the demon...i often wonder how can i get rid of it....it's something so strong, so powerful...it sometimes feels like it's pulling me in and taking my place. once again , well done.
