Oh Brother, My Brother where are you now memories once held so close escape me somehow so many years gone by the days of our youth then came the battle cry the war of such untruth you got the call to serve in a far and distant place where you last stood on earth now hard to remember your face seems like only yesterday we were cutting class in school chasing all the pretty girls tryin hard to be so cool so many lives, an awful cost on a day of cold and calm a battle fought and sadly lost in a place called Vietnam Mr.Undertaker, please drive slow thats my brother that you carry A soldiers fate, so soon to go in hallowed ground, now to bury Will the circle be unbroken in the sweet by and by theres a better place he goes heavens waiting in the sky < !signature--> [This message has been edited by Danny Holloway (edited 03-16-2000).] |

Wow Danny, what a beautiful story you tell here...Although I fear it's a true one. What a heartfelt tribute you've written...I know it means alot. It is good to write of such loss...This honors him well. Yours truly, Gen |

You brother is now smiling down on you Danny. How sensless war is, the cost so huge for so many. I'm sorry hon. This is a lovely tribute to a hero, friend and brother. Wonderful work!! May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love. I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart, That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world, Wishing you well and wishing you love...... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

you always write with such emotion and compassion Danny...this one is no exception..very touching and moving take care, jm Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be jackson browne |
