FATE--Part 3 of the saga between the prince and princess

The day he found his love once more
Tore away his heart
His damsel he found
Very sick
Where the waist high weeds did part
He saw her fall
When running swift
By leaves that brushed her face, her hands
Down she tumbled
As if by some powerful force
She lost her will to stand
Trembling, tender face twitching
He caressed her gentle cheek
And from what seemed to be a deep slumber
She began to speak..
So softly at first
He barely heard the words that came from her lips
She said
"My dear, my prince,
you came for me."
Indeed he did
And he kissed her fingertips.
"I love you my sweet
I had to come and rescue you on feathered wings
So we can fly away together
While the red breasted robin sings."
His ear then pressed against
Her heaving breast
Her mouth struggling out each breath
He listened to her heart beat
Inside her chest
Beat a beat a beat
The beats, a drumming rhythm
Singing to the prince
Lulling him in further
To almost a state of slumber sleep
Slowly though, the beats finally ceased
The sweet music went away
The prince awakened by the terrible sound
Of silence smooth and deep
A truth the prince just couldn't bear
Was pulling at his insides
His tears, then broke the silence
And he shook his darling bride
"Oh, my sweet
Don't leave me.
I need you to hold this day
I need your touch, your song
I need you in every way."
But his princess never responded
And lay limp in his arms
So, the prince in turn just sat there
Frozen,
Motionless with despair
Still intrigued with his twister of fate's
fatall, loving, charms.

joy you've outdone your self...each one gets better...loved this ones emotions...but now what??? has fate brought this fairy tale to a sad ending...

anythings possible when in love though..right

ok JOY, now there has got to be more to this beautiful story..... you keep leaving me hanging.......these are soooooo good! Hope there is more.

I don't know if there will be another or not. I'll certainly try though and see what developes! My mind is turning with new ideas though, so I'll see! I'm so glad you enjoy these! I do as well.
