Day by day
I come to this site
With hopes to write
Something worthy of posting
Think that I can speak me mind
With full freedom

Even though in the real world
Outside of my computer
I feel like something else
Somethign that I have to hide
From the world

I can't be me
Unless I hide behind my computer

Will I ever break free
What if someone here
Knows me
Then I will be figured out
People will then know
Who I am

Hi, Nice poem expressing your innermost feelings. Keep on writing about what is on your heart. I have been in your situation before feeling like I was on the outside looking in, and maybe not feeling worthy to be anyones friend. Writing helps and so does discovering all the things you have to like about yourself. If you need to talk I am a good listener, just email me.

I too, tend to hide behind my computer and share with strangers what I feel I cannot with others. (Not that we all are strangers).
I relate to this, Neala.

Exactly, what Is the True YOU!?  I too look at the screen with confidence, but those who look at me, I am quite shy.  Very good poem.  Hope to read more of your poetic phrases.... Much love, ONe love, PeACE

Neala,

Boy can I relate to this!! In "real life" I am much more shy than behind this screen. On here and especially in Passions, I am able to share with people the true me. I hope you are also. Don't hide the real person you are. I am sure you are a wonderful person. I look forward to reading your work in the future. Take care of yourself.

so true neala, we do feel safe and secure in our cyber world...and in here in the darkness, (smile)
take care, jm

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be

It's funny isn't it.  On the computer here or in chat rooms, we can be anyone we want to be.  We can be open, vulnerable, expose inner most feelings etc.  I wonder what people think of me sometimes...  Like is she mad or what?  LOL
Here in Passions we are lucky to have it and each other, to share with, lean on, cry or laugh with.  There is always someone around to lend an ear.
Well expressed as always Neala

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

Shatter the mask Neala. . .I know that it can be easy to show yourself behind this wall of technology. . . but we can see the real you in this poem. . .and we would like to see more, hopefully, with our help you can break the mask and let the real you fully shine through. . .

Wonderful words. . .

Hello,
I am glad everyone can relate to my writing. Everyone in here has pretty much seen the real me as for everyone else I think not.

I can understand the feeling of not knowing if someone you know could be here and you not know it...

~goddess of love, passion, and desire~

I'll be here...why? I'll
be waiting...for what?
'll be waiting for you
so...if you come here,
you'll find me...

I promise.
