Life is mystery, deja' vu,
Questions and theories they surround you,
Kahmir, Mandella, God and space,
Sometimes life is a slap in the face.

Folklore, tales and legend,
Are with us right to the end,
Even death itself a mystery,
Unbeknown, what will we see?

Fables, stories, illusion,
Life sometimes in confusion,
An enigma, no purpose, or so it seems,
And why do I keep having those recurring dreams?

They say we live and learn,
And that I'll add to, we also yearn,
Life experience - our teacher,
And sometimes the local preacher.

I don't have the answers yet,
But I do learn a little more every day,
I know now I DO make a difference,
In some little substanial way.

Life is a journey,
Sometimes the road will be rough,
But with love and learning in my heart,
I'll walk tall and stand tough.

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

I really really liked this one! I loved its simple flow and powerful messages. I also liked the rhyming in it..really made me SMILE. Thanks for posting something kinda light yet also meaningful.

Wise words, Isisian one. It is ironic in a way that our true worth and measure won't be apparent until after we have gone...in the lives of our children and their children. That should be one reason why we travel Life's road so carefully, kicking away pebbles and obstructions to make the journey a little safer and easier for them.....as they will do for those who come after...
