As I lay here alone, I feel the tears falling from my eyes. I feel alone and desperate, searching in my mind where only fear and loneliness corrupts me. I feel the energy slipping away in a world of darkness. The void in my life is reality. Not by choice of myself, but by the faults of others. They seek to destroy me day by day. Waiting in the shadows. They find ways to creep in and take over leaving me with no will of my own. I feel lost and alone, abandoned you might say. I look upon life as if it was only brief and for a moment. I wish for hapiness and closure, serinity and peace. But I know I am to be destroyed but thoses that surround me, lurking and waiting for me as if I was prey for a animal. I try to think of happiness, children playing, laughing, and singing, so innocent, not knowing of fear. When awaits me is anguish and pain. But then as a gloomy picture comes to mind. A picture of death surrounds me. I see people walking around me, hooded they are as they surround me with faces of darkness. These people that surround me, their faces so dark. They are as dark as the night as they walk and ponder around me. I am weak in spirit and so vulnerable, I reach to them in desperation, so desperate so alone I reach to them. As I reach I feel a dark hand, It touches me, sending chills throughout my body, sending negitivity to my senses, waiting to lead me into a world of darkness. I can't fight any more. My senses are slowly leaving, I am weak. My courage that once was strong, now lies still and alone in the hand of darkness. Searching for a hand to guide me. Reaching out within limits for a touch from someone or something. I feel only coldness and death. Loneliness and reality of death awaits me. I am defeated as death knocks at my soul, Destroyed by them that walk around me in darkness,Destroyed by myself and others as I lay here in darkness afraid and alone. ------------------ |
