shadow over floating waves
expanding over a sea of
reflections
breathless you arrive at
the mirror-lake
Glittering are the drops
of water in the air
they cover your shivering skin
with the rest comes the silence
you wait and see the light
as it dives into the
darkness
lingers on the bottom
of the sea
your fingertips on the surface
create a dance
a dance that slowly captures
your mind
as the rhythm draws you into
the spiral of ecstasy
sinking to the ground
you don´t desire more
than finding this absolute
this entity, this one-and all
of freedom
the water surrounding you
fills your lungs with
emotions unexperienced
your eyes will keep on
watching the sky
dim voices
the sand under your feet
yields to another
temptation

You definetely "drew" me in on this poem, why not! I like your name btw. Automaticaly made me think of telling someone "why not" when they are asking you "why"

wow there are so many great poems in here tonight..so full of emotional imagery...this one included...
