Crying out your name in the dark of night,
It hurts to have lost you,
But see your face every day,
It is torture they way I long to talk to you,
You don't understand what is holding me back,
It is fear.

Fear of being rejected,
Already left behind,
I couldn't bear to hear your voice,
Speaking unforgiving words,
Words that shame my heart,
And bruise my soul.

But all I want from you,
Is to hear you utter my name in the dead of night,
To know that you want me the way that I want you,
For you to feel the pain I feel,
And say you Love me too.

oh how i relate to this one...perfectly poetic...well expressed desperation...nice job.jm

 ...every moment of every day...
your still with me in every way.
every poem and song...
every rhyme and verse...
your still here...like a beautiful curse.

Oh how I long to find the one that wants me the way I want them.  In my case not always an easy task.  Hopefully we will find each other at the same moment in time.  James
