Descending with angelic grace from Heaven’s azure dome,
A solitary snowflake falls to rest upon the heart;
Freezing touch permeating callus-scarred once broken flesh.
Heaven’s pride, a bead of white, slowly slithers through the cracks
To touch and taste with sweet embrace the tender core within.
Pleasure spasms, frosty chills, wrack the body, shake the mind,
Wreak havoc on a broken heart incapable of love.
Barely noticed begins the glow, a spark within the depths.
Callus stripped off is consumed, kindling for the growing flame.
Dilating to hold the heart complete, fire burns to blue.
Melting eyes telling all:  this conflagration burns too hot.
Evaporated, turned to air, the snowflake pushed away.
This fading flame, burning with pain, turns into a pyre.
The shattered heart softly weeps, blood tears freezing to the earth.

wow, this imagery in this is excellent...very well written, great work!

 ...every moment of every day...
your still with me in every way.
every poem and song...
every rhyme and verse...
your still here...like a beautiful curse.

Thanks for the nice comments.  Although I'm never left in awe by my own poetry(maybe disgusted sometimes), thank you anyway.  Have a nice day.

I feel as if I am able to see and understand everything that is going on inside of your mind. I can relate to what you are feeling and was really blown away at the way you poured your heart out. A wonderful job. I am well amazed.
