Rippled blankets across the open sky Fire burning with a chaotic heat All realization shattering her face Smashing it into the ground, porcelain cold and blank Glowing brightly in a black forest of rain Face so painted, drained of it's original flavor Only a faint perfume left behind, only the smallest remains So faint to the touch So real to the eyes Carved deep within the cheeks of her face, tears wearing her down So very many, in the silence of lonely nights Arms empty, skin burried into the shadows Walking lost in the labyrinth, the maze she grew from stone Pierce it and break it, Make it all die away Beating on the wall, screaming so mute Trapped forever here, a tomb built of bones [This message has been edited by Dark Enchantress (edited 03-02-2000).] |

I forgot to say this - I'm sorry for not reading and replying to your poems. I've been really busy lately and haven't been able to spare the time for poetry. Well Angel of Darkness welcome home, and this was wonderful... well thought out, a different perspective etc. really great for a comeback May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love.
