Come gentle rain and wash away the pain
Erase her memory from my brain
And let me live again

Wash the sadness and the tears away
Let me see the sun someday
Here along the bay

Cleanse me of the fears
That have grown through the years
And open up deaf ears

Purify my wounded soul
Send me love to fill this hole
Where anger has taken its toll

Give me strength to face the trek
Always looking forward, never back
At my old life, a wreck

Come gentle rain and wash away the pain
Erase her memory from my brain
And
   let
      me
        live. . . Again

Sven, this is SO beautiful and heartfelt...emotionally perfect!! very nice work! take care, jm

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch
You never knew what I loved in you
I don't know what you loved in me
Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be...

I love you...always.

Rain is so purifying, isn't it, Sven?  Try frolicking in it the next time it rains and perhaps it will help.  If not, write more beautiful poetry to make us women swoon.
Loved it, Sven.

Hon you have the Bay and the rain to cleanse the memories and pain.  Walk by the bay it'll help, God, I wished I lived closer to the beach or even flat ocean *sigh*.
Take me hand hon you aren't alone

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......
