Climbing....Climbing.... Higher and Higher Suddenly I can't climb any higher. I look down only to realize I am stuck At the top without a clue how to get down How did I get up there in the first place? Falling is the easiest way down Yes! That would solve all the problems But that would hurt so many Can't do that So then how do I get down? Why can't anyone see me? Isn't it obvious I need help so I don't fall? I don't want to fall I really don't I need someone Someone to notice To get help Someone to care.... I don't want to fall. |

Oh Meg, this touched me. I don't know you but I DO care. If you need to talk please feel free to email me ANYTIME. If this was just a fantasy type thing, I apologise but i do worry when I see someone crying out for help May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love. I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart, That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world, Wishing you well and wishing you love...... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Meg, first of all, I like how you wrote your free verse very much. A too familiar feeling, being pushed into a direction of life, you don't want to be and it feels as if it will kill you. But you fight ! Fight with all that's in you, because you know what ? There's always that hidden path for escape and if you need some help along the way, feel free to contact me any time. Because at Passions you're never alone. |

Been there....it's quite a lonely feeling....and you're so far away no one hears the screams. When you're completely surrounded by darkness, sometimes the only light you can ever find comes from within. Perhaps you should look there first, maybe no one see's you because you haven't been reaching to them in their own darkness. Just a thought. Wonderful poem, can relate well. michael |

Very good poem. It's funny how people interpret poems differently, maybe from life's experiences perhaps ... When I read this poem I envision an person who has had their share of success and is at the top and doesn't know where exactly to go from there... it maybe seems like they've done it all and ever step they take from there would be a step backwards. And to fall would be a sort of soul cleansing... to go back to days when things were simpler, but to do that you would lower peoples expectations of you and in a sense hurt them because of their own perceptions. Funny thing with poetry, the poem can make you feel as though you've been there experienced the same feelings as the author and then you discover that you know nothing other than what the author decided to share with you and any other meanings you attatch are figments of your own imagination ~*As I said earlier well written ! Good Job ~*Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear*~ |
