Beware mankind for the Dark is rising. A maelstrom of vengeance pours out of Hell. Wicked torments the Dark is devising. With burgeoning evil the night does swell. A maelstrom of vengeance pours out of Hell. Heart-stopping fear becomes the nightmare's ride. With burgeoning evil the night does swell. The Dark exposes every sin denied. Heart-stopping fear becomes the nightmare's ride. Primordial terror shows in sweat-drenched sheets. The Dark exposes every sin denied. Vile desires are commonplace feats. Primordial terror shows in sweat-drenched sheets. Unending sorrow engenders madness. Vile desires are commonplace feats. Insanity feeds on grief and sadness. Unending sorrow engenders madness. Abject misery makes one long for death. Insanity feeds on grief and sadness. Deadly evil steals innocence' last breath. Abject misery makes one long for death. Wicked torments the Dark is devising. Deadly evil steals innocence' last breath. Beware mankind for the Dark is rising. ©1999 DreamEvil ------------------ Now and forever my heart hears ~one voice~. DreamEvil© |

Wickedly wonderful, Dream. Indeed, I felt the Dark last night. Thank you. ------------------ Michael Anderson And so, being young and dipt in folly I fell in love with melancholy, But dreams - of those who dream as I, Aspiringly, are damned, and die: EAP |

I don't know this form, but this poem is very well crafted...from the right lines repeated to the language itself...good job! ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |
