The white Frosted haven of winter Silent In the midnite breeze So cold So silent Icicles of frozen life Being hung by the wrath of winter As the moon rays Elegantly shine below On once barren fields Now covered in snow As beautiful hills roll Smoothy as far as the eye Can see All sense of life Now dimmed Yet far in the distance A figure seen walking Covered in its own darkness Black Huddled tightly trying to fight winters flight Shuffling through this once silent place With eerie breath surrounding his face A fog escaping this magickal field Drifting mystically over the sparkling snow The moon now covered By overwhelming gray clouds This figure now very close Closing in on me With his stare so powerful Pulling me into his trance Scanning the horizons Not another being in sight Trembling in all my fear Who is he? The coldness attacking me Eyes so cold as if not to blink His eyes nearer Reflecting off the perfected moon Over all those hills Leaving just a faint trace of his path Footprints so light Disappearing in the nite So close now Stopped So close now As I felt his breath upon me And i ever so slowly Looked up into his eyes Eyes so beautiful Radaintly shimmering like diamonds In the silence of winter Peacefully calm This tranquil world in which we've fallen into And he stared into my eyes For so long As if to capture my soul In his own And he took my hand In his Never leaving my eyes And placed a single Red rose Into my palm and closed it Taking his fingers and gently lifting my chin He kissed me With frosted lips Never will i forget that stare Never shall I forget that kiss As he kissed me He stole me Stole my soul As he walked away Not saying a word And never to be heard from again Never looking back He kept walking Leaving me alone With a rose and floundering thoughts And as I realized what had fell upon me Tears decended from my eyes Freezing as they reached my cheeks I shall never be me again I shall never be complete I shall never be real I've been robbed Of something that can never be replaced My soul On hands and knees I fall And let myself fade away Let myself just disappear Exactly how you did CLose your eyes As the perfected moon Shines on sparkling snow covered hills That roll past the horizon And the silken twilite of winter Devours all Except a single Red rose Which lies upon the snow With frozen tears Across its petals For no reason at all. ~Why is it that you beleive in perfection my friend? For perfection is a dream, it shall never be acheived. So tell me why you beleive in perfection?....For PErfection doesn't exist..~ |

I too felt the soulless desolation and the cold. Wonderful imagery Red well done  May the world hug you today, With it's warmth and love.
