The Hurt In Me |

Is there a hurt within me That I can't seem to heal? Am I deepening the void With my own comforts, Are my serene, calm words Pushing the hurt further down? Do I not see I need someone To help get the hurt out of me? To reach far beneath My skin, to my soul And grab the hurt by its nasty throat Strangling it to death. I guess I don't see that though Because the hurt is still there I can hear its steady breathing Rythmic with my own My words mean nothing to it, To me. I can say no more! |

very well written Joy, a well expressed look within... your words mean and say alot, take care, janet marie< !signature--> "...we were born before the wind...also younger than the sun... and my heart you have won...as we sailed into the mystic... I just want to rock your gypsy soul- just like in the days of old... and together we will float-into the mystic... Van Morrison [This message has been edited by Janet Marie (edited 02-14-2000).] |

you have written the story of me! i have been battling those exact feelings for a long time now. you get so good at portraying the facade that you even begin to fool yourself. wonderfully written and so completely felt. great work! |

felt it very much. it was my life in a nutshell. yet, to me it seems i make it that way. hard to escape ya know. thanks for making me think. Trust I seek and I find in you. Everyday for us something new. Open mind for a different view, and nothing else matters. --Metallica |

Thank you for your replies. I honestly didn't think that many people would relate this much. It seems a lot of people go through very dark times in their lives. I am glad I could have touched you all. So, thank you! Joy |
