THE SEEKER Anger engulfs the heart Pain the soul's only thought The eyes through tears of woe do see A world of shameless animosity To rise above the pain of life Again to find the purest light This the seeker yearns to find Above the trials it must arise The spirit seeks to find a guide Not realizing in itself this lies And thus does life become less tried As the seeker waits upon the guide And now the seeker begins to die Heart and soul in darkest light And with last breath does realize Inside itself did lie the guide Without darkness there is no light Without the light we cannot see the dark Balance...It heals the soul -- by: LB |

Thank you Robert. The self realization helped my life to move forward. Without darkness there is no light Without the light we cannot see the dark Balance...It heals the soul -- by: LB |

The spirit seeks to find a guide Not realizing in itself this lies And thus does life become less tried As the seeker waits upon the guide No truer words of self-realization have I read in recent times. Very well done. We all must come to the understanding that our guide indeed lies within ourselves. Jennifer |

Thank you Jennifer. I honestly enjoy the inner search that creates many of my poems. Without darkness there is no light Without the light we cannot see the dark Balance...It heals the soul -- by: LB |
