Everything is moving way too fast The day that has just begun Is over in a second flat Not enough time To do what I please Too much work layed at my feet Leisure can't be described Because I've forgoten what it feels like To have nothing to do. Tell me, who takes the hours And turns them to minutes Then, those to seconds Then, seconds gone No time left Everything seems to be moving At a pace that's much too quick A day over in a split second Faster than an eye lash blink Devotion The heart can think of no devotion Greater than being shore to the ocean- Holding the curve of one position, Counting an endless repetiton. -Robert Frost |

Joy, this is great...I feel like this too...we blink and the time has slipped by...like when I'm in here reading all the amazing poetry and the next thing I know its dark, or midnight...(smile)take care janet marie Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding- remain the most beautiful words ever heard. Janet Marie |

All too true! I can't believe it's February already!! Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |

It is amazing how quickly it goes by. I enjoyed this very much and felt it through and through. Great work Joy! Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear. -Tool- |

Thanks. This was just a quickie I had to do. Because the expression, "time flies" couldn't be more true right now! Joy |
