A real live woman

Hi Lord, I'll make a deal with you
and believe me I'll keep my promise true.
My God, I agree to give up all
my dreams and fantasies
and I even agree
to throw in a few women
I like that don't especially care for me.
In return would you please grant my prayerful plea?

Please bless me with a real woman and not a fantasy.
A real live woman to Love and cherish me.
A good kisser would be nice.
If you agree I promise to treat her tenderly
and of course I'll love her eternally.
I really, truly, honestly mean it sincerely
I'll give up my dreams and fantasy
for a real live woman
to kiss and embrace romantically.

I'm ready to search and find my destiny.
I freely accept my fate.
Now Lord, please agree
to exchange my dreams and fantasy
for a real live woman (of my choice)
to spend some time with me.
I await eagerly to live and share my life
with a loving caring wife.

Take them now, all my fantasies and all my dreams
all my silly plans and hopeless schemes

Cute one James... I somtimes feel this way but I beg to differ (sorry). I want to have everything. I figure aim high and then you'll recieve what you are needed. But if that is all you need then so be it and go for it!!! Julia Roberts!LOL I think I would choose Traylor Howard. She is the actress in Two Guys and a Girl. But I dont know her so maybe not.

powerful prayer james. by the way my name is james too. a word of advice though never give up your fantasies, a world without them would be a grim place, fantasize with the woman you love. and about her. good poem. thanks for sharing, mo.

Very good a very good idea this i must remember it made me laugh a lot but then i am a pessimist.

I think poets are really nice people.  Thanks for all the wonderful responses.
Kari I believe men do appreciate women yet I also take women for granted. Big mistake. My friend Mich sent me some nice thoughts she had read on Love.."When you find someone who loves you because of the person you are, the way you do things, your humor, your personality, or because this person likes the way he or she feels about himself or herself in your presence, be true to this person.  This person mirrors your best."
Isis I think you truly have a romantic heart and you are Truly an angel.  I also look for one to love and cherish me right from the start.  Isis I love your prayer sent straight from your heart and I pray that God will give you all of your hearts desires.  I think I have the perfect man for you..Richard Gere.  Maybe if he's romancing you he will leave me and Julia alone long enough to get in another kiss..I meant to say that first kiss. So much for giving up my fantasies, right.  Isis you really have lots of confidence that you are a good kisser.

This was actually a very serious prayer to God from the bottom of my heart but as I was writing this I found that I was serious but I was also happy because I think I have finally faced up to my problem and I believe that God will provide a solution.
