A Shadow in the Night
A shadow, a shadow
The day turns to night
It's narrow it's narrow
Life is a fight
The pain, the pain
Must I draw out my sword?
I'm slain I'm slain
Do I call on the Lord?
He left, he left
The world enters decent
No rest, no rest
It's the dark I repent
But it's too late
The world is gone
I lie in the shade
Thinking what went wrong
No more time
Afraid to speak
You feel the rhyme
Your flavor weak
Life is cheap
Ride the wave
No time to speak
No sync to slave
Like grains of sand
We're blown away
A darkening sky
We fade away
