so im cynical
and im never looking up
nor down
and superficial
was the thorn that sat upon my crown..
and crazy wounded memories
can be my friend
my love..the ugliness within

Superficiality is something that haunts me every day. I can mever get away from it completely, no matter how much I wish to. Cynicism the same. Your poem spoke to these feelings inside me.
