I think insanity is just the label
thw world puts on those who truly understand-
life, truth, emotion, the cosmos.
I have been called insane-
by my peers, my parents, my doctors-
and perhaps I really am.
I feel seperated from the world mostly-
like a stranger peering in a window-
and I pity those on the opposite side.
Sometimes I despise them with their
arrogance and ignorance and stupidity,
that disgusts me and makes me turn my face.
But mostly I feel great sorrow for those
living in the room I peer into
cause they are contained, I am free.
I suppose I am psycho, crazy, insane,
because I understand everything but,
I cannot write it down ever.
To put it on paper would mean the
caged people could know all too
and join me in my freedom.
So, no, I will keep knowledge for myself,
and continue peering through the window
with my insanity clouded corneas.
But, at least then I can be free.

Amy this is the first piece I ever read by you and I cant wait to read more!!!!! I can so relate to this in so many ways... I have many people who call me weird because of the things i've said... Guess what I wont let them know ne more just like you... why should I they want to live in there little safe world--I know you know what I mean..... I loved this piece alot and cant wait to read more!!!! Bojopy

I agree! Whenever someone calls me strange, I just smile and say, thank you, and know that they probably wish themselves they could be a little ecentric also! To be strange, insane, crazy, weird, is to be free! Yeah!

Thanks for the comments guys. I am so glad some other people feel the same as me, cause otherwise I might go a little more "insane."
