AS I STAND. As I stand before him naked, I find my soul, long dead, has been awakened. I screamed out his name, unlocking every door as he came. A thousand miles away he dwells, but inside here, he knows all of my Hells. Never have I seen his ancient face, but at the same time it is etched in my mind. Every little trace. As I stand before him naked, I find my fascination has been awakened. Shuttering, as I face him, with fear. My mind screams, "why have you brought him here?!" Feeling his cold breath upon my lips, as my soul is devoured, piece by piece, in bleeding strips. As I stand before him naked, my heart bleeds with diffidence, awestrickened. There is an alter ego which dwells in every soul... a-alibaster |
