In the nightmare of desertion the visions unfold. In the blackness and the dark like ledgends untold, Of lonliness and lost loves and the emptiness that be. Locked up in a cage of hate waiting to be free. In the darkness of the night all the hope is gone. Groping through a winding maze searching for the dawn when I can understand the past and these visions haunting me. Stumbling through a land of thoughts, wanting to be free. In the blackness of a dream I see a speck of light. Shining through the deepest fears never giving up the fight. Against my thoughts and dark emotions, the light will come to me. Holding on to love and faith, searching to be free. [This message has been edited by DayDreamer (edited 01-16-2000).] |

DD Very nice poem. Keep your eye on that speck of light...strive to reach it. You may never...as I haven't yet. But the quest to touch it gives you purpose and direction, at least it does me. Thank you for sharing this with us. Look forward to more. |

I loved the line--In the blackness of a dream-I see a speck of light This says so much to give everyone hope that there is light after darkness. Welecome and hope to read more soon. |
