Sitting here creating my own self-destruction I drink this vile liquid of alcohol As it caresses my lips (as yours once did) it’s bittersweet taste drowns my pain. Lying here alone in self pity Darkness surrounds me as it hugs my body closely (as you once did) its lifeless movement leads me to tears. Dreams that leave me abandoned Dreams that will never be invade my mind and soul (as you once did) left forever in solitude a life that will never be. |

A stroll through yesterdays can be filled with pain. Tomorrows always look brighter Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |
