Another day is ending, Another little death, Some more misunderstanding, Some more judgements. Another souless day, Another lonely night, Another moment of despair, Another day without light. Another petty jealousy, Another slur against me, Some more venom spewed forth, God who is gonna save me? Another teardrop falls, Another rip to my soul, Eventually it'll happen, This life will take it's toll. Misunderstood, fear and lonliness, Constant companions for me, Longing for so much more than this, For my destiny to be filled emotionally. Darkness chases the sun away, The end to another day, A day it seemed to me, I was forced to pay. Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely. ~Isis~ (Sovereign of the Spirit) |
