Lying in a grassy field Looking at the moon As she grows ever closer Looming Luna Till she rests upon my heaving chest Pulsing with fear and a strange joy She is nothing if not weightless As she slowly draws me through her diaphanous gown of palest hue She pulls me into her as her lover I am a part of her, and she of me Rising again, Returning to her place in the heavens I fly with her through the cold evening skies Safe in her Floating so softly betwixt the heroes of the night Careful not to let those stars touch us Looking down at the land and sea far below She is my bubble ship, I ride in ecstasy within Staring out into the blackness Then passing too close to Orion’s belt, she is pierced by the Hunter’s blade And bursts open with a silent sigh And I hang motionless Unable to return, Unable to move, I am become the light of lover’s passions. |

I loved the entire thing except the last line I did not understand? "Write down what you say if what you say is not written down" (Bojopy) |

Luna Luna shining bright Bless the soul that cries tonight. I enjoyed your Luna very much. I feel we all are blessed by her radiant light. Words bloom like flowers that seem astonished at being born. L. Pirandello 16th Century Dramatist |
