Come to me, come to me, My speech hath the power to protect, Come with me my lost soul, For I possesseth the life. I am the lady of words of power, I am Nature, the Mother of All, The light giver of heaven, I shall not let you fall. I am Mistress of the Elements, Sovereign of the Spirit, Nothing will stop us reaching the goal For together we have the power to change it. My will alone governs the sea, I am the single embodiment of all love and light, My will changes the wind and the stars, I will help all in their fight. I am Isis, The God Mother, the giver of life, Let my magical spirit be mighty and protect thee, Let me put an end to all the strife. I'm the lady of heaven, The lady of warmth and love, Lady of abundance, joy and gladness, Known by countless names, I am Isis Let your heart guide you. Yes! You are Isis! I think we all have that ability and power. Some just have a hard time finding it within themselves. This was great. It has left me with a more powerful feeling. I enjoy this new perspective you are taking in your poems. |

Well allright ISIS!!!!!! Go with this new found joy......Oh yeah by the way I believe that "GOD", well the higher being, is a women. Think about it a women gives birth so why isent GOD a women. Thanks Bojopy! You are not a freak, but God is a man, says so in the bible, God created man in the image of himself, then created woman. I wish he was a she too, but I gotta believe the bible. Isis, this is truly a wonderful poem! I too have to agree with you the God is a man because the Bible does state that. But I truly believe that we (women) are the closet to God. He gave us the traits of nuturing, loving (unconditionally), forgiveness, and strength! We're the earth. Take note - "The earth goes through a series of changes and yet still able to mend itself!" If that's not a women I don't know what is! Keep writing! |

Ok ladies I agree that women are more GOD like especially what Shirlieeah said about the earth. Good call on that one. LOL Isis I meant it would probably make more sense to me if GOD was a woman. Well I dont know??? Gees i'm so confused about religion sorry. There is one thing though I can truelly say "I wish I could give birth to a baby". I am so jealous of women on this one. Wow I'm a femenist. PRO-WOMEN LOL. I guess I had to be with three older sisters. lol again. Bojopy if you honestly mean that about wishing to have a baby, I wish you could too.For it was the most precious, rewarding, wonderful, spiritual, fulfilling thing you can ever achieve in your life. Dont get me wrong I love being a man and all but that one thing is just to remarkable to not want to do!!!!!!!!!! I would not give up being a man in any other sense except for that!!!! Afer the interesting conversation we had about Isis and Osiris the other day, I read this poem and learned a completely new side to the story. Very interesting. About God being a certain sex... I don't believe he favors either or. His appearance in pictures change, his words change throughout every version of the Bible, and we call our race "man." Maybe the structural build was a mirror image of him. But, I don't belive sexually, men are like god. (well some are... err bad joke.) But, i do believe when we pass through Heaven's open gates, we will know for sure what he's tucking behind that robe  |
