Welcome to a new day
One so special in every way

Watching the world enter the new century
Awaiting our turn, holding my ticket for entry

Global invitations
To glorious celebrations

As the seconds, minutes and hours slowly tick away
We sit and wait the momentous day

Poised at our computers, with fingers crossed
In the hopes, no years are lost

What a wonderful time to be alive
My wish for you, to grow and thrive

Welcome to this new day
One we’ll surely look back on and say

Where were you ? , when the century turned
In my mind and heart…
I was home…
With the ones I love the most…
This tonight I learned

There must be some kinda way out of here... say the joker to the thief

There's to much confusion, I can't get no relief

Wonderful FreeByrd, we are all with loved ones on New year in the flesh or in the heart.
Thanks for my lollipop by the way
