Darkness surrounds me As I lay sleeping Shadows dance in and out Shapes play in my mind I know not who it is Nor what it wants Sounds vibrate loudly Frightening me Trembling and sweating Tossing and turning Sheets choking me Unable to wake up Nightmares flood me Night after night Creatures aboud As I lay in slumber Thoughts of death fill me When I awake Blades, pill Matter not to me Ending the fear That chases me through the night Is the solace that I seek |
