Expansive Forbidding The unforgiving void That mocks me Beckons … Perched at the Brink In the sphere of oblivion, Black-on-black And cold (so cold) Face-to-forever With my own (insignificance) Fears dancing, swirling Before eyes glued open With disbelief – So weary of such A precarious balance Perhaps It is better To Fall … You cannot choose the way of your death, but the path you choose will determine its own end. |

Sometimes the pain of walking a wire far exceeds the pain of the fall. Usually it's the fear of not knowing what's at the bottom that makes the fall so scarey. Gerat imagery, Kess, goo poem. Michael |
