The lights of the city twinkle like stars But they only remind me of how far away you are. I hear your voice, I see your smile. But they will comfort me for only a while. How I long to feel your arms around me. Your hair I long to touch your face I long to see. No more good-byes over the phone. No more long walks to my home alone. If I could see your face before me. If I could have your body to hold. No riches would I need For you are more precious than gold. That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Thank you all. . . the pain and the pleasure are sometimes too much to bear and the longing can be terrible. .. That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

I really relate to verse two... Well done.... Jenny Lee Love is an attempt at penetrating another being,But it can only succeed if the surrender is mutual. |
