Hath light now fell to shadow's seep, where ash to ash and dust do sleep upon a bed of satin sheets-- no soul restored, nor heart replete? Yet, as this veil of darkness falls, hear ye not the trumpet's call? Hope resounds from Heaven's gate Seraphs sing and Saints await. So lay thy weary head to rest upon the bosom of the blest for in the care of Angel's keep one worries not of shadow's seep [This message has been edited by Edder (05-07-2004 09:20 AM).] |

Edder, I much enjoy the sentiments of this write. It's very personal. ![]() If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

My computer shows what I believe to read as Seraphims ... with a minor corruption... nevertheless, a lovely poem...and one I would like to share with a friend. Thank you! |

Suthern- always a pleasure to have you here, dear lady. Karilea- Thank you for the kind words and the heads up. I pasted it from Word, I think that may be the problem. I edited it and retyped it in the post box. How does it look now? |

Much better, and my friends enjoyed it very much. So much so, I am going to send it on a card to them to keep, now that you have made it picture perfect! |

Yep I am. Now give something to Karilea for her show... and for god's sake make it something you already posted or she will never get it on time.... ![]() "cast me gently into the morning, for the night has been unkind" |
