This rhyme I write for you sweet Mom
On Mother's day you are the Queen

May Heaven give you lots of years
You use them well as I have seen

May you enjoy the time that's left
Old you are, but not in mind
May laughs and humor lead your way

Forever leave your tears behind
On Mother's day you are the Queen
Resting is no word for you

My Mommy Muys you've always been
On Mother's day you are the Queen
The sparkles in your eyes when smiling
Have warmed my heart time after time
Even in the darkest moments
Reaching out in words of rhyme
Sending emails throughout the world

Don't ever change your way
And I will whisper into your ear
You are the Queen on Mother's day

She will be 93 coming August.

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Titia, Mommy Muys is a queen ANY day, as we all know very well. She is such an incredible lady who happened to raise an equally incredible daughter.

Oh, this was so very wonderful! When I saw her picture at the end of this poem, Her beautiful face fit that beautiful soul! Just great.
