Superb sun shines shimmering, shadows slope along the ground, from tall willows, emerald hued. Birdsong echos and uplifts spirits. Delight is all around, the day fair. White flowers miniature and delicate. Herby aroma of wild garlic on the wind. Orange tip butterfies and treecreepers. The river, she sits motionless, reflections of willow on her film. Under her banks, old logs and new buds, she is dressed in newly flowered garlands. Opening gates, crossing styles, weather beaten, but smooth, from the touch of walkers hands. Just sitting, watching from shadows. ''There is no need for temples, no need for complicated Philosophies. |
