Beautiful rain, In my eyes. Rain on me Saturate me with sound. Sky awash with silence, Crashing, cacophanous noiselessness, The clouds of yesterday passing through. Memories running down my cheeks. You were there, Dressed as an angel. On your jerky frame were gossamer wings, Fanning my conscience with possibility. A butterfly passing through, I was a radiant flower. You sipped my nectar and were gone. Now the rain batters my eyes, my lips, my nose, You forgot responsability for your rose. "Time has told me not to ask for more, one day our ocean will find its shore" ~Nick Drake [This message has been edited by ESP (04-30-2004 05:46 PM).] |

OhLilLizzie~ 'A butterfly passing through, I was a radiant flower. You sipped my nectar and were gone.' How can something so sad ... be SO beautiful? And yet ... it is~ Love you gal~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |

"The clouds of yesterday passing through. Memories running down my cheeks." "You were there, Dressed as an angel. On your jerky frame were gossamer wings, Fanning my conscience with possibility." The phrasing in this is absolutely wonderful Lizzie, and the visuals are stunning ... such a beautiful read. I really enjoyed this. So good to see you, too! Best wishes, /Kit |

There you were, like a flower and here comes the butterfly to taste your nectar and leave... I like the analogy, a lot. enjoyed! |
