Hate

Know what I hate?
I hate someone
saying they want to be
with me and they don't
and they pretend that they do.
So after awhile I'm not
sure if they do or they don't,
and then I'm not sure what to do.
Because I get attached to them
and I want to be with them,
and to be with them I have
to believe that they like me,
sincerely and honestly , but they
don't always, sometimes they are
deceiving me for their own
selfish reasons, not caring how
much they will hurt me when
I find out the truth of the matter.
That life is not always about
caring and concern, sometmes it
is about lying and deceit.
That's what I hate.

I couldn't agree more. There are far too many people who have a total disregard for the feelings of others and are only interested in satisfying their own needs. I am sorry this has happened to you and I hope true love will one day fill your heart and that you will find someone who will love you for who you are.

Thank you Sue...fortunately this is from a past experience...but past experiences do affect the way I see things today...hopefully the relationships I am in now are the real thing...and honesty, caring and concern will have their way...James

I always disciplined my children not to use the word "hate" (to use instead, dislike intensely) but I have to agree with you about the lies and deceit -- that is about as close to hating as I get.
