Said the bee to the daisy, You’re really quite lazy, Just sitting all day, With your fragrant bouquet, Luring in us poor bees, Scintillating scent on the breeze, To drink of your nectar Like some Hannibal Lecter, Unwitting pollination, Ergo daisy procreation, This bee says no more, Doing your dastardly chore, And anyway daisy, just down the hill, Is one pretty flower, a sweet daffodill. A beast to accompany the beauty of Lady Santo's offering. |
