Beginnings Without An End

Out of sight and out of mind
With an ocean in-between
Being a million miles away
My tears were never seen

A promise of friends forever
It appears they soon forget
Should I assume their gone
Have their needs been met

Left to guess and speculate
Having had no explanation
Everything had seemed ok
In a previous conversation

Was this to be the aftermath
In being the forgotten friend
Is it a wait and see situation
Beginnings without an end
