Visiting Botanical Gardens
With flowers all in bloom
Noticed all the wild names
All Latin or Hebrew

Albeia Grandiflora
Callicarpa Bodinieri
Things I thought were just some flowers
Not found in dictionaries

I got a beep on my old pager
But forgot my cell-type phone
It could be important
I had to go phone home.

We went into the office
To find a phone that they might loan us
They said they only had one
A "Pay-coinus-telephonus"

I recently got DSL, 3 computers in my house networked so the land line rings even when all of us are online and 2 new cell phones...

And I am completely convinced it was all necessary...

I feel you Toe!

Toe, only you, my buddy, could make a flower poem full of technology. LOL

I love the way your mind works, my friend.

ROFL... and here I'd settled in for the vicarious peace of your walk through the gardens... I should have known your path would follow some twists! LOL

P.S. Was it ancient enough to accept dimes for a call? Or did you have to take out a new mortgage to make the call? *G*

Toeragus luftibus a rare species ... I wondered before believing in a tranquil walk through the botanical gardens ...
Lovely!

A very interesting read! You went from writing about flowers and ended up talking about phone sex! ~  "Pay-coinus-telephonus"
