Coated With Meaning

In the space between moments

The curve of the ocean
swells
to expand inside this loneliness
and fill me
with saturated blackness

Moments churn
and something from the bottom
stirs
it seems my pressure
will implode upon me

I see a semaphore
you, an eventide light
dripping lightly over me
your words sunshine
lending sparkle
to my vast expanses

But you cannot illumine
the whole of me…
these waves crash too thickly
coated with meaning
you will never understand

A beacon, you can be
sending shimmers of dreams
into my soul-ripples
keep me from falling
yes, keep me from falling
into the ancient pain
swimming beneath.

this is so very stunning, I love poems of the tide and how they relate to the inner being, you have given that such meaning with this.....hugss

That first stanza really sucked me in and the rest....made me sigh.

this write is quite remarkable...each stanza is a gem that could stand alone, yet put together, they are so elegant...well done...indeed!
