In a Bubble Boat bubbles sailing like toy boats around a spring-made pond they reach the edge and disembark with a pop or are shot down by air to ground missiles in the shape of tiny tears their color, a sidewalk gray but more because they reflect the sky as mirrors of this dawn dancing, popping rings of art like fish that dart about a lake celebrating life the day is gray but not the mood for, though the wind is blustery and the rain’s not prone to stop we feast upon the drinking land and watch it fill to top for April is a shower time that dresses the days of May with colorful, aroma-filled in rainbow-like array I think I’ll take a bubble-boat and sail to lands afar a dreamland float of joyous fun and from where taxes are! "for April is a shower time that dresses the days of May with colorful, aroma-filled in rainbow-like array" ~ This stanza was expecially poetic and appealing! Good to read you again! Springtime hugs, EA |
