This morning I am remembering the good of the bad, your words appearing and flashing back what shadows my heart. I am held by the words, their touch replacing the feel of real, substituting a warmth needed some days. When the nobody cares mood challenges my mind and the passage of time makes me long for the close of the day, I reach deep within to startle the "come what may" and make there be my reason for living. Not to be taken lightly, for I am unbreakable, able to stretch my defeats into promises of tomorrow's secrets, I anchor my will at the bottom of my well, never empty of emotion, never dry of tears but filled with hope, and bitter-sweet memories that have become Me. And those shards of glass? Those pieces to be tossed away? I have wrapped them tightly, softening their edges so that no one else will feel their piercings or the lingering of their break. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Dear sweet Maureen, no matter how downhearted you may be feeling, you still think of the feelings of others. Big hugs to you, sweet lady, Ethel |

I anchor my will at the bottom of my well, never empty of emotion, never dry of tears but filled with hope, and bitter-sweet memories that have become Me. This is wonderful. Enjoyed the whole piece. Susan |
